As a principal with Brunswick Junior High School in Brunswick, Maine, Walter Wallace cultivates a hands-on pedagogical model that takes a holistic approach to student development. Over his 10 years in this position, he has developed a safe learning environment that encourages supportive partnerships among students, teachers, and members of the community at large. Walter Wallace received recognition as Maine Principal of the Year in 2015.
He recently expanded his professional purview to establish a private educational consultancy in his hometown of Cumberland. To augment and inform his professional endeavors, he holds active membership in multiple industry organizations including the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the Association of Middle Level Education.
In his free time, Mr. Wallace enjoys swimming and golfing. He also has a history of community service that includes a range of youth sports fund-raising efforts. Other nonprofit organizations that have benefited from his support include Ronald McDonald House and Best Buddies International.
